Together with local heroes, the international group of players will compete with each other and the audience in a merciless theatre show.
Nothing and nobody is spared. For this company, theatre is always about survival. So that is what the actors in this unique theatre show are trying to do, save their butts! They don't stop until everyone is lying on the ground, exhausted. There is hard fighting for the win, but even harder laughing. A show to celebrate man and his insane attempts to survive in this world!
POP-UP THEATRE IN DE BAARSJES
Troupe Courage settles down in Amsterdam-West this summer. There they will play the performance 'The hero of BB'. From 9 to 18 September, the Huis van de Wijk de Tagerijn in De Baarsjes is converted into a pop-up theatre with a terrace, especially for the event.
THE WHOLE NEIGHBOURHOOD PARTICIPATES
Local residents run a temporary terrace, people from the neighbourhood cook there, and young people from the square are looking for local stories that inspire crazy and moving scenes and improvisations. Together with an international cast and musicians, the whole neighbourhood will be playing for a week.

A theatre ticket costs 10 euro ( + 0,95 service costs).

For an additional 7,50 euro you can eat an international dish before the performance on the pop-up terrace by local chefs (different every day).

It is also possible to buy a ticket for someone else. This way you support the project and make sure someone can go to the theatre.
